Internship overview
Zenero is offering a 6-month Content Writer internship for university students who want hands-on experience creating content across social media, blogs, ebooks, and case studies. You will join our marketing team and learn how to translate complex topics like carbon accounting, compliance regulations, and sustainability reporting into content that is clear, engaging, and genuinely useful for our audience of brand leaders and sustainability teams.
This internship is designed to give you real ownership over content from day one, close mentorship from experienced marketers, and a strong foundation for a future career in content, marketing, or communications.
What you will do
- Support the writing of long-form blog articles on topics such as sustainability regulations, carbon labelling, Digital Product Passports, and industry trends
- Assist in writing and structuring ebooks and guides that support lead generation and position Zenero as a thought leader in the space
- Learn and apply Zenero's brand voice and tone consistently across written material
- Research industry news, regulations, and competitor activity to keep content relevant and timely
- Learn and apply basic SEO practices, particularly for blogs and website pages
- Track content performance and use insights to improve future content
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field, though all backgrounds are welcome
- Available to commit to a 6-month internship
- Strong written English with good grammar, clarity, and an interest in storytelling
- Ability to simplify complex or technical topics without losing accuracy
- Comfortable managing multiple small projects and deadlines at once
- Genuine interest in sustainability, climate technology, or supply chain transparency is a strong plus
- No prior professional writing experience required. A writing sample, blog, or portfolio (even from coursework or personal projects) is a plus
